    Program Introduction

    Project Introduction

This project is an internship program taking place on the Island of the Gods, Bali, Indonesia. Known as the Sanctuary for Digital Nomads and the Hub of Startups, Bali is a paradise for free spirits and dreamers seeking a new life. Renowned globally as a top vacation destination, Bali offers ancient history, tradition, and exotic culture throughout the island, allowing you to experience its unique charm. With its azure seas, stunning sunsets, and lush landscapes, Bali shines brightly with nature's light. Enjoy both travel and hands-on work experience through this internship in beautiful Indonesia!

    *Digital Nomad

Refers to individuals who work and live like nomads, moving from place to place with internet access and various devices needed for work, without constraints of time or location.

    1. Bali, the "Island of the Gods," named 'Asia's Top Travel Destination of 2019' by travelers worldwide!

Bali, Indonesia, selected as the '2019 Top Travel Destination in Asia' by the world-renowned travel website TripAdvisor! Known for its fantastic emerald seas and well-developed luxury villas and resorts, Bali is a popular destination for many travelers. With options for water sports like surfing and scuba diving, and a variety of activities, it is a paradise for those weary of daily life!

Bali is also a must-visit destination featured in films such as Eat Pray Love, Gods of Bali, and dramas like What Happened in Bali. Take a break under the wide, blue sea and the shade of lush palm trees!

    2. Ranked #1 among the 'Top 10 Cities for Digital Nomads' globally!

In the era of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Bali has been ranked as the top city for digital nomads to work! Among over 1,300 cities worldwide, Bali stands out for its excellent IT infrastructure, affordable cost of living, livable environment, and peaceful nature, attracting many from around the world. Not just IT professionals, but also artists, writers, and creators flock to Bali to find new inspiration.

Imagine a day in Bali! Work from cafes or villas during the day, and spend leisure time surfing at the beach with international colleagues or hiking in the mountains. Or perhaps learn yoga on another day! Experience it all yourself!

    3. Take the first step towards working for international companies! Build your own 'special' career with multinational colleagues.

One of the recent hiring trends is 'employment in international companies'. More people are seeking to work in international firms for better benefits and a free organizational culture rather than domestic companies. However, beware of unrealistic fantasies and dreams! You won't know if it's the right fit for you or what the actual work environment is like until you experience it!

Why keep waiting for job postings? Start building your career by choosing and applying for fields that suit you! International companies value relevant work experience, so gaining hands-on experience through internships can be a significant advantage. Experience the actual work environment and build your own 'special' career!

    Grow

By taking an active role in work, my language skills and behavior steadily grow. A sense of “I am someone who can work here” becomes deeply rooted in my mind. Everyday conversation and business English improve significantly. Through cultural differences, I learn that my way and others’ ways are different, and realize that those differences are not wrong. Even after returning to Korea, I think concretely about how to integrate this experience into my life. As my self-confidence grows, an inner voice emerges: “I am a reliable person.” My ability to proactively plan tasks and produce results improves. I build and leverage a network of professionals in my internship field. Traveling around Bali, I discover hidden spots and local culture. I gain confidence that my skills are valued by companies in Bali as well. Combining work and travel enriches my life. I feel secure as I form deep relationships with new people. Hands-on experience strengthens my conviction about my career. Collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds improves my teamwork skills. I develop self-management skills to balance work and life.

Additionally, prior to the actual interview with the internship placement organization, training will be conducted through a mock interview.

    Q. How is the career training conducted?
To avoid space limitations, training is conducted online with professional consultants. (In English) Participants' resumes and cover letters are reviewed according to international standards, and personalized improvements are made. Mock interviews are conducted for about 45-60 minutes each to allow participants to gain real experience. Depending on the participant's abilities, interviews may be conducted from a minimum of 1 to3 times. Increase your personal brand value!

        Important Notes

    - This project includes a 1:1 online orientation in English before the internship, providing guidance on safety and culture.

Pre-training will be conducted to ensure safe stay during the internship period.

    - This project is conducted without compensation, and there might be opportunities for regular employment after the internship.

(*Decisions depend on the participant’s skills and the organization's situation)

    Q. Why is the internship unpaid?

Internships abroad focus on education and providing real work experience rather than simple tasks, so they are mostly unpaid. Moreover, paid internships usually require participants to have sufficient experience and qualifications to handle responsibilities.

This often results in higher initial costs due to the time, effort, and resources needed for matching participants and companies. Therefore, starting with an unpaid internship that has lower initial costs is recommended. This allows you to gain work experience and build your career for domestic and international employment.

    English Proficiency Required ☆☆

This project involves participating in multinational companies and startups as an intern. Basic skills in proposal writing, report preparation, and communication in English are required. However, do not be too worried. Positive attitude, openness, and friendliness can sometimes be more important than language skills.
