Have you ever heard of Live Commerce before?
It's a combination of Live-streaming and E-Commerce, often referred to as "La-bang" in Korea, where consumers can interact in real-time and shop online while watching live broadcasts.

Live commerce is gaining significant popularity, especially among Gen-Z, due to its advantages of real-time interaction and the ability to gather product information through video without visiting physical stores. Analysts predict that the live commerce market could grow up to 8 trillion won by 2023, highlighting its widespread appeal.

Learn the live commerce ecosystem with startups on Jeju Island, where you'll participate in selecting, promoting, and selling seasonal specialties unique to Jeju. This hands-on experience will provide valuable insights into the entire live commerce process.

Why this project is great!
1. Enjoy the leisure of Jeju. After gaining work experience in the studio, which boasts beautiful views of nearby hills, participants can unwind and explore various hills for healing and relaxation after their 4-hour workday.
2. Gain diverse experiences. Beyond experiences in live commerce such as product selection, SNS marketing, and live broadcast operations, participants can also gain practical experience in running a cafe within the studio space.

What makes this project special

This project is an experiential learning opportunity where participants will learn and directly engage in every stage from product selection and concept planning to live broadcasting at an agency promoting and selling Jeju Island's specialties.
■ Main Activities Examples
- Product Selection: Visit Jeju farms to select fresh and high-quality local specialties according to the season.
- Sales Planning: Determine broadcast schedules, discuss product and promotion strategies, and select selling points and concepts.
- Marketing and Promotion: Manage SNS and smart store platforms, and create online and offline promotional materials.
- Broadcast Operations: Conduct pre-rehearsals and prepare for live broadcasts.
- Monitoring: Analyze live broadcast data and feedback.
- Studio Management: Operate and maintain studios and cafes.

The organization responsible for this program is a startup that introduces Jeju specialties nationwide and promotes and sells them through various methods.
Local staff members, having diverse experiences, are active as Jeju local creators. They particularly manage and provide education and services related to live commerce within Jeju Island.
The main workspace and studio are also utilized as a café where you can always enjoy aromatic coffee.

In the tranquil and beautiful landscapes of Jeju Island, take your time to reflect on yourself—you'll surely get to know yourself better. Step outside your daily routine in Jeju Island, experience diverse tasks, and hope you see, feel, and learn a lot.

1. Bijarim Forest
Bijarim Forest is a place filled with mystical charm that has been imbued with millennia of history, featuring globally rare trees like 500 to 800-year-old Bija trees growing naturally. From trees struck by lightning to majestic ones aged through centuries, a variety of trees can be encountered here. Thanks to them, a pleasant aroma fills the forest entrance. Walking along the refreshing path imbued with phytoncides, you'll naturally fall in love with the allure of woodland walk.
2. Hamdeok Seoubong Beach
Hamo Beach, located in Jeju City, is famous for its beautiful beach adorned with emerald-like jewels. The moment you arrive here, you'll feel as if you've stepped into another country. Towering palm trees welcome you from the entrance, and the contrast between the white sand and emerald sea and the clear water that transparently reflects the sand and seaweed, along with gentle white waves, greet visitors.
