    About the Provider

    INSTITUTION INTRODUCTION

"As culture designs the heart, the heart designs culture."

Our organization is a social venture that dreams of a fairer world through culture, striving to unearth and reintegrate valuable local cultures that are marginalized and fading into obscurity. Over the past 8 years, we have worked on creating a sustainable cycle for Korea's traditional cultural industry through MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions, Events) projects, branding and marketing consulting, fostering traditional customs and festivals, and distributing handicrafts. Our goal is to restore forgotten Korean culture to everyday life.

    Local Authority's Statement

"Over the past 150 years, Korea's unique spirit and cultural heritage have gradually disappeared from daily life due to wars and rapid economic growth. Similarly, numerous regional cultural heritages around the world are vanishing under the influence of power and economic logic.

Culture, being both a resource and spirit of a region, should be nurtured through cultural industries to enable regional development. Our mission is to realize the vision that 'every culture holds value' through sustainable regional cultural initiatives.

We are committed to finding the small joys and peace that already exist around us and ensuring they stay in our lives for long, dedicating ourselves to the mission of designing hearts through culture."

    Location Overview

    LOCATION INTRODUCTION

    LOCATION:  SOUTH KOREA, Seoul

Seoul, located in the heart of the Korean Peninsula, stretches north and south along the Han River.

Exploring Seoul, where past and present coexist and the city changes day by day, promises something new every day.

With its beautiful palaces steeped in 600 years of history at the heart of the city, alongside neighborhoods big and small that lead Korea's trends in art and culture, Seoul is optimized for urban exploration.

Visit Seoul, where you can explore tourist spots preserving ancient history and showcasing modern trends.

    ■ Recommended Travel Destinations

    1. Namsan

Namsan, centrally located in Seoul, symbolizes the city and has become a central hub for citizens to relax and enjoy fresh air. N Seoul Tower atop Namsan provides efficient broadcasting and reception of signals while serving as the nation's first comprehensive tower integrating tourism facilities that preserve traditional Korean beauty, aiming to shape the future of broadcasting culture and tourism businesses. For over 40 years, it has also served as a representative landmark of South Korea and a symbol of Seoul.

    2. Han River

Flowing through centuries of history, the Han River is not only a proud natural and cultural heritage of our nation but also a precious urban sanctuary that serves as the lungs of Seoul citizens. Many Han River parks have been developed around it, attracting numerous citizens. Equipped with various sports and leisure facilities, docks for Han River cruise ships, and well-maintained bicycle paths, it is a favorite spot for cycling enthusiasts in Seoul. Especially in spring and autumn, ideal for outdoor activities, many people spread out mats and enjoy the Han River.

    3. Deoksugung Palace

Deoksugung Palace, located in Jung-gu, served as King Gojong's residence during the Joseon Dynasty and vividly captures one of the most turbulent periods of modern Korean history. Initially used as a temporary palace by King Seonjo following the Japanese invasions of Korea in 1592, it was later renamed Gyeongun Palace during the reign of King Gwanghae. The name was changed back to Deoksugung during King Gojong's stay here, symbolizing his long reign. Surrounding Deoksugung Palace is the Deoksugung Stonewall Walkway, known as a resting place for citizens and a dating spot for couples, with local legends suggesting that couples who walk along it may part ways.
