“2023 GKL FOR ALL TOUR PLANNING GROUP”

GKL (Grand Korea Leisure), a subsidiary of the Korea Tourism Organization, is a public corporation that supports the growth of the tourism industry.
We are building tourism infrastructure and creating jobs for young people through travel business, international conference business, tourism accommodation business, casino operation, and duty-free sales. In 2014, the GKL Social Contribution Foundation was established under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
In order to introduce the diverse culture of Korea to the world through the development of travel contents for small cities in the country, we are conducting the “2023 GKL Tourism Planning Group for All”. We hope you will experience the opportunity to promote Korea's hidden small cities all over the world. |

GKL Social Contribution Project [Tour Planning Group for All] Foreign friends residing in Korea travel to a small city where a population is less than 100,000 and gradually disappears, revitalizes tourism in the area. Furthermore, it is a project to promote small cities in Korea as tourist destinations around the world by producing video contents that can promote the region. |

You will meet a different side of Korea that only you can discover,
not the Korea everyone knows.
2. Financial Support for all your Trips!
You can receive support for all necessary expenses for a 1 Night 2 Days trip,
such as transportation, accommodation, and food.
The only expense that you need to be worrying about, is bringing joy entertainment, and fun!
* Excess expenses during activities except travel grants must be paid by yourself
3. A unique experience prepare everything on your own!
You can plan and carry out all the concepts, themes, places, and activities of the trip yourself,
so you can have a more special and new experience.

Target
Foreign students living in Korea
Age from 18 to 30
Must attend to Korean University, Graduate School, University Korean Language Program
*You must be able to participate in the entire schedule (no visa issues during the schedule)

* When an individual applies, we will form a team and arrange you in a team, where you won't be having any language barriers.

* The detailed interview schedule will be notified individually only to those who have passed the document.

How to apply
1. Fill out the application form through ‘Application for Participation’ at the top of the program
* when applying as a team, all members of the team must fill out the application form.

2. Submit required documents by e-mail (hsy@koreagapyear.com)
- 1 copy of Identification (ARC{Alien Registration} or passport)
- 1 copy of school or language school enrollment certificate
-(optional) Portfolio
*Both the application for participation and the submission of documents are required in order to complete the application.

Note
1. Submitted documents are not returned and the evaluation score is not revealed.
2. Among the final successful candidates, if they do not attend the opening ceremony or give up their selection, other applicants may be selected from the preliminary list.
3. Those who have entered false information in the application form or are selected in other dishonest ways may have their selection canceled even after being selected as a participant.
4. If the program is terminated and paused after the start of the project, the budget support may be suspended, however, some support may be (airfare, accommodation, etc.) refunded depending on and changing case by case
5. Photos or videos of participants in activities may be used for promotional marketing purposes.
6. For COVID-19 prevention and safe participation of participants, you must follow regulations such as operating guidelines and safety rules. Participation will not be allowed if these are violated.
7. The schedule and program contents may be changed according to the state/local government's social distancing level, quarantine guidelines, etc.
8. In the event of the spread of COVID-19, all programs may be suspended or terminated.
9. There is a limit to the money support and support is available only within the possible categories, mentioned earlier

* In case of too many applications, other application submissions may be denied to due non vacancy, even if submitted prior to the deadline
