Are you ready to head into the middle of the desert spread across Australia's vast continent? Enjoy a full 6 nights and 7 days filled with being captivated by exotic landscapes by day and falling into a deep sleep under a sky full of stars at night. During the approximately 2,000 km journey by bus from Adelaide to Uluru, you'll explore Australia's true Outback and have time to experience the vast nature firsthand. Escape the city's hustle and bustle for a while, feel the great outdoors, and reflect on yourself. If you're lucky, you may even see Australia's unique wildlife in person.
As this trip brings together travelers from around the world, English is used as the common language; however, if you open up and reach out first, language won't be a big barrier! Join unique camping, trekking, and other activities you may not have experienced before, and become friends with people from across the globe.

Day 1: From a sheer 30-meter cliff to a dazzling feast of stars right before your eyes — depart now to a mysterious world!

Are you ready to enjoy Australia's dynamic and vast outback like never before? Our bus departs from Adelaide and heads to our first destination, the Flinders Ranges.
Alligator Gorge boasts some of the most beautiful and grand scenery in the Flinders Ranges. The sheer reddish quartzite cliffs reach heights of up to 30 meters.
After lunch, as you explore the Peach Rich Railway, you'll feel as if you've stepped into a painting. This area is where the Adnyamathanha people have continued their history, and through the Akaru Rock hike and a simple cultural experience at the resort afterward, you can learn about their way of life.
After enjoying dinner, immerse yourself in the stars that fill the clear Southern Hemisphere sky. A light show unfolds before your eyes. The feeling of falling asleep under tens of thousands of stars is something you must experience to understand.
* At an observatory not far from the campground, you can observe constellations, globular clusters, and nebulae, as well as planets like Saturn and Jupiter, through a 10-inch reflecting telescope.
Day 2: 'Experience the true Australian outback, the Flinders Ranges!'

Today we'll learn more about the history of the Flinders Ranges. The Flinders Ranges consist of towering ridgelines and peaks, tree-lined gorges, small rivers, and red earth; according to Indigenous legends, this area's landscape was once inhabited by many snakes and giants.
Walking around Wilpena Pound, one of the world's most unique and mysterious natural environments, you'll feel as if you've traveled back 1.3 million years. There you'll learn about the Adnyamathanha people's culture and traditions, bush tucker (food), artifacts, medicinal plants, and take part in traditional ceremonies.
After lunch, drive through Bunyeroo Gorge and Brachina Gorge, known as the 'Passage of Time', and experience a sense of nature's grandeur unlike anywhere else in the world.
At the accommodation you can enjoy a campfire with your newfound friends from around the world.
Day 3: 'Woodanadatta Track — where the history of camel drivers and the Old Ghan train comes alive'

Today we will travel along the historic route of the Afghan cameleers and the Old Ghan Railway.
The Oodnadatta Track is a 600 km flat yet dramatic route that combines plains and undulating country. In the early days of Australian exploration, the most famous explorer, John McDouall Stuart, explored the central interior of Australia, and following his footsteps the 'Old Ghan Railway' was built. The Oodnadatta Track serves as an important line alongside that Old Ghan Railway. Drive this route and fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the time.
Pass through the Marree area and stretch your legs while walking around Lake Eyre and the Mutonia Sculpture Park. Lake Eyre is Australia’s largest salt lake; over a very long time the water has evaporated, giving it an unfamiliar appearance different from the lakes we know. After driving for a while you will pass Anna Creek Station. Imagine a station the same size as Belgium—about 30,000 square kilometers; can you feel how vast it is?
In the late afternoon you will arrive at William Creek. This is a very small, remote village with only about 10 residents, yet it is a famous stop that many travelers across the outback visit. Among its attractions, the William Creek Hotel, in operation since 1887, acts like a guestbook for everyone. Enjoy a cool drink and a pub meal here!
*The Oodnadatta Track is an unsealed, unpaved road, and track conditions vary greatly depending on the weather. For safety, if driving is judged to be difficult the route may be changed to an alternative itinerary.
Day 4: 'The Mysterious Underground Town of Coober Pedy, Opals That Shine Forever'

After breakfast, head to Coober Pedy, Australia's opal capital.
In Coober Pedy, which feels like another planet, did you know that 80% of the world's opals are produced? This place has been introduced a few times as an underground cave world. People here make their homes in underground caves. Unlike the hot outside, the underground maintains a comfortable temperature and humidity of about 24°C year-round, and you can glimpse the locals' practical wisdom everywhere, such as sticking matches to detect possible ground movements.

In the afternoon after the underground mine experience in Coober Pedy, visit the Josephine Gallery and the Kangaroo Sanctuary to view works by Indigenous artists and meet rescued koalas and kangaroos.
Spend the rest of the day exploring Coober Pedy at your leisure. Have dinner in an underground restaurant and spend the night there — isn't that a truly new experience?
Day 5 'An Endless Desert Spectacle!'

Today we continue a long journey north, passing the Dingo Fence. Here 'dingo' refers to Australia's wild dog. Despite their cute appearance, they are ferocious creatures that hunt in packs. In livestock-raising Australia, a fence over 5,500 km long has been erected to prevent damage caused by dingoes. Considering that the entire Korean Peninsula is roughly 1,000 km from north to south, isn't that astounding?
Passing the Kanku-Breakaways Conservation Reserve, cross into the Northern Territory and head to Watarrka National Park. After a long journey, arrive at the Kings Creek Stay campsite in the late afternoon.
Take a relaxing swim and capture the desert's stunning sunset in photos. Enjoy a delicious dinner at the campground restaurant, unwind from accumulated fatigue, and enjoy a restful night!
Day 6: 'Kings Canyon — how far have you explored?'

One of the most challenging and exciting days of the outback road trip awaits you. You will trek Kings Canyon in Watarrka National Park for about 6 hours. Kings Canyon is known for its spectacular gorges and rock formations carved by millions of years of erosion.
A 300m-high sandstone cliff, lush forests with over 600 species of trees, more than 100 bird species and over 60 reptile species — an Australian oasis! You'll be immersed in Kings Canyon's charm as you explore its natural amphitheatre shaped by rain and wind, the Lost City, and other features.
After lunch on your own, you'll head to your final destination, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. There you will finish the day watching a spectacular Uluru sunset. There are only a few days left in the trip — what will tomorrow bring?
Day 7: 'The Kata Tjuta sunrise that stops all thought — why can't you turn away?'

You will visit Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), considered a must-see in the Outback region. Together with Uluru, which you will visit tomorrow, conquering this site makes you an Outback conqueror! In the indigenous Pitjantjatjara language, 'Kata Tjuta' means 'many heads' and refers to 36 rock formations that rise to a maximum height of 564 meters. Because of its clustered, intricate appearance, Uluru is sometimes compared to a male figure and Kata Tjuta to a female.
Especially the Valley of the Olgas and the Valley of the Winds treks, which feature trails between the rock formations, are famous. Walk these trails, take photos, and learn the creation stories of the many Indigenous peoples who have lived in Australia for some 40,000 years.
After a light meal at the camp, join a dot painting workshop with Anangu Indigenous artists. For about 1.5 hours you will learn about Anangu art, ancient symbols, and basic words in the Anangu language, Pitjantjatjara. During the time at the Cultural Center you will gain a deeper understanding of Anangu culture and learn about the natural environment of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.
Day 8 'Shouting Love from the Centre of the World'

Enjoy Uluru — the 'center of the world' and the 'navel of the universe' — which the protagonist longed for in the film
Join the 10 km Uluru Base Walk with a guide and learn why and how Uluru has inspired so many people over some 550 million years of history. Along the way you can rest at quiet waterholes and under majestic she-oak trees. If you prefer not to do the full walk, shorter trails are available, so don't worry!
Late in the morning, with the Uluru activities finished, the long-yet-short outback road trip comes to an end.
Breathtaking nature, tens of thousands of years of history, and unique cultural experiences. How does it feel to return to the city after being immersed in the middle of a movie? Take a good shower and fully enjoy the pleasures of the city! Share the highlights and reflections of the trip with the friends from around the world you traveled with for eight days. Close your eyes and recall the journey—you'll feel a sense of accomplishment and be swept away by poignant memories. With that, you've successfully conquered the Australian outback!

- The aboveParticipation schedule and detailsmay be subject to change depending on local conditions and weather.
- To fully enjoy this project, you should enjoy outdoor activities, be able to hike, and be able to cope with extreme weather conditions. For this,a certain level of physical fitnessis required, and during some parts of the schedule you should be able to walk 3–12 km. You may walk on rough terrain or get wet.
- In advancespecial dietary requirementsplease let us know. We offer a variety of meal options and do our best to provide fresh produce. Snacks, soft drinks, and alcoholic beverages are not included.
- Bags: per person 'a 15 kg backpack or travel bag (no suitcases) + one small handbag' are limited to.
- All participants must complete online check-inThis involves submitting a health questionnaire or a pre-travel medical certificate to confirm that your current health is satisfactory. This is mandatory, and we will provide separate guidance to ensure it is completed at least 24 hours before departure.

We operate transportation that departs between 12:30 PM and 1:00 PM on the last day and arrives in Alice Springs around 7:00 PM. The guide will assist participants who wish to use this shuttle to ensure they arrive at the shuttle departure point with plenty of time. Please inquire in advance to reserve the shuttle bus.

Each year it is bustling with participants who come to experience the true Australian outback.
It is not just a simple desert trip; we run programs that allow participants to understand and directly experience local Indigenous peoples and communities, and we take a leading role in nature conservation. In recognition of these efforts,we have received awards from Tourism Australia for several years.Friendly, humorous, and qualified professional road-trip guides accompany participants to ensure their safety, while enhancing understanding of local culture, Indigenous peoples' lives, and the history of European settlement.
Participants will enjoy Australian-style 'swag' camping. A swag is between a one-person tent and a sleeping bag.'Swag' sleeping bagIt is perfect for outback trips. Watching the countless stars in the night sky and chatting around the campfire will be another highlight of the camp.
Participants need a personal sleeping bag to use inside the swag. You may bring your own or request one in advance and purchase it on site.
During this project, restroom and shower facilities are not readily available. It will be an opportunity to step away from the comforts of the city and experience the real outback. Most meals are provided; for meals not included, you may freely use local restaurants. In outback areas, phone and Wi-Fi service may be unavailable or limited.
This project is recommended for those who prefer challenge and hands-on experience over a comfortable trip!

Did you know that Australia is about 77 times the size of our country?
What's even more surprising is that the population living on that land, which is 77 times larger, is only about half of our country's population! Driving along the long, straight roads, the vastness of Australia can make you forget even the sensation of speed. Leaving the coastal areas where most Australians live, this trip invites you to the 'navel of the universe,' the center of Australia.
Adelaide, where the journey begins, was founded by immigrants and is known as the 'city of churches' because of its many beautiful churches. It is also famous for producing some of Australia's highest-quality wines. The Northern Territory, which will be the main setting for this trip, is where you can experience Australia's vast wilderness, the Outback, and the traces of Indigenous peoples firsthand, and is famous for Uluru (Ayers Rock), known as the 'center of the world' or the 'navel of the universe.' Australia is in the Southern Hemisphere, so its seasons and weather are the opposite of Korea's. In particular, the southern night sky is filled with inverted constellations and special constellations that can only be seen there.
* December, January, and February in Australia are hot summer months, and January temperatures can exceed 30°C.
Also, June, July, and August are winter months.

1. Perth
Perth is the capital of Western Australia and enjoys clear skies year-round. The European-style, stylish port town of Fremantle, overlooking the emerald Indian Ocean, is 30 minutes away, and the Swan River wraps around the city. Climb up Kings Park, stand beneath the Little Prince's baobab tree, and look down over Perth to feel true tranquility!The Swan River surrounds the entire city, giving it a constant sense of peace. Perth is a place where you can see the emerald Indian Ocean whenever you feel weary of life. Isn't it one of the places you should definitely visit in your lifetime?

2. Broome
Broome is a hidden gem in northwestern Australia. It is considered a must-visit resort even by locals and serves as the gateway to the last frontier, the Kimberley. The sandstone formations formed 250 million years ago include the World Heritage-listed Bungle Bungle Range, and watching Broome's sunset while riding a camel will give you an unforgettable, exhilarating experience. To truly experience Broome, we recommend joining an outback exploration tour from Beagle Bay to Cape Leveque.

3. Great Barrier Reef
A must-see before you die: the Great Barrier Reef.It is the world's largest coral reef, stretching about 2,000 km along Australia's northeast coast and ranging approximately 500 to 2,000 m in width.Designated a UNESCO World Heritage natural site, it is home to a remarkable variety of life, including around 400 species of coral and some 1,500 species of fish.Scuba diving and skydiving at the Great Barrier Reef will offer unforgettable experiences you can't have anywhere else in the world. If you visit the reef, stopping in Cairns to enjoy various marine sports is a great option. It's an experience every visitor to Australia wants to try, so don't miss touring the east coast!

All Gap Year projects require normal processing procedures and a Gap Year preparation period, sowe recommend applying at least 3 months before the project start dateand,As a rule, you should apply no later than two months before.This is the policy.
